So far this week the baby bears have been very explorative, we've had great fun exploring water - splashing our hands and using objects to fill/empty.
We've also spent time exploring pumpkins, some of the bears helped me empty the contents out and then we explored it, adding natural resources.

We introduced the pumpkins as a shape sorter and used another to support the small world play. The children keenly experimented, posting corks/lids and any objects that would fit through the holes.
The second pumpkin was used as a garage, encouraging the children to control the cars through the spaces/tunnels. The pumpkins have been a huge success within the room and we look forward to observing the bears play with them in many other ways!!
