We have been enjoying lots of baking opportunities this week. The children found a recipe they wanted to make from our role play cook book and gathered all the ingredients to make it. On Monday we made courgette and cheese muffins. We have had lots of positive feedback from parents wanting to make this recipe so we will be providing small recipes for parents to take home if they wish.
On Tuesday and Wednesday we made Pea and vanilla cupcakes, this became a big a big talking point for all the children in the room. Everybody was able to join in with the different jobs including learning how to crack an egg! 'Pea's don't go in there' 'its green' 'smells yummy' These were some of the statements whilst making the cupcakes!
